Cause' when push
        comes to shove
You taste what
        you're made of.
You might bend,
        till you break
Cause its all
        you can take.
On your knees
        you look up,
Decide you've
        had enough.
You get mad,
        you get strong,
Wipe your hands
        shake it off,
THEN YOU STAND.

Welcome to The Annual Ride For Roswell
Jacquie's Team in Green!

The Ride For Roswell is an annual celebration of community support for Roswell Park Cancer Institute and its core mission to understand, prevent, and cure cancer.  The Ride is a year-round fundraising program for the Institute that culminates in a celebratory cycling event every June!  It is a safe and healthy day of cycling fun for riders, teams, cancer survivors, and supporters.  The introduction of Team Jacquie For A.L.L. came in 2008 with the now famous neon green Jacquie t-shirts.  Our first year, 30 riders raised in excess of $13,000!  In 2009, in memory of Jacquie, the number of riders increased to 81, with an additional support staff of 10, and with the money raised being restricted to The Jacquie Hirsch For A.L.L. Research Fund at Roswell, the team pulled together an amazing donation of $26,574.35!!  In 2010 Team Jacquie For A.L.L. swelled to an incedible 95 riders who raised over $25,000!  Still in it's signature green, an update to the Ride t-shirts led us to win the 2010 Overall Best Ride T-Shirt.  Out of 574 teams, Team Jacquie For A.L.L. was able to place 9th in overall fundraising.  Our hope is to continue making an impact at the Ride each year, which translates into increased research and better patient care.

The Ride For Roswell offers a distance for any type of rider. Participants can choose to ride different milage routes!  Either choose a traditional route that starts from Baird Point -- the 62.5-mile, 44-mile, 33-mile, 30-mile, 20-mile, 8-mile or 3-mile routes -- or join the Extra Mile Club Peloton: only a 12-mile ride from Roswell Park to UB.  If you can't ride that day or want to simply fundraise and join us at the picnic, become a virtual rider.  Won't you please join us in riding together on our team or making a donation in order help?  It's a fun, easy, and healthy way to get involved!  Just read what some of The Ride For Roswell participants had to say:

"I am so touched and honored to have been able to ride for my first time at the Ride for Roswell yesterday.  It was such a powerful and moving day- what a perfect tribute to Jax.  During the ride, it was very easy to spot all of the Jacquie for A.L.L. riders, in the bright green shirts with Jax's beautiful picture on the back.  Many people commented to me on how much support she has and how many people turned out to honor her"

"In seeing all of the green shirts yesterday at the Ride, I was very curious to see such a young girl for whom everyone was riding for.  Being the same age as Jacquie, I could not imagine the hard times the family has gone through.  Jacquie seemed to be a fighter from what I've read, and it has inspired me to begin giving blood and platelets at Roswell for patients such as Jacquie who need them.  She is an inspiration. I am so sorry for your loss, but with the support of all us riders yesterday and in years to come, hopefully her foundation and our effort will help to cure this disease!"

To join us on the ride, volunteer or make a donation, please CLICK HERE to visit our Jacquie For A.L.L. Team Page!  Thank You for your support as we continue the fight against cancer by honoring Jacquie's brave fight and preserving her cherished memory!
